Treat It as Living

The agreement is a living document, not a stone tablet. Revisit it every three to six months. A bedtime rule that suited an eight-year-old feels insulting to a twelve-year-old, and an outdated rule is the first one a kid stops respecting.

Post the agreement where everyone sees it. When conflict flares, point to the page instead of arguing: "We agreed on this together" lands better than "because I said so" and spares the relationship.
