LESSON 2 · What Your Body Actually Needs

Signs You Might Be Deficient

Your body signals when micronutrients run low, but the clues are easy to miss. Constant fatigue despite enough sleep often points to low iron or B12. Frequent muscle cramps suggest low magnesium or potassium. Brittle nails, dry skin, or slow-healing cuts can flag a shortage of zinc or vitamin C.

These symptoms overlap with many conditions, so guessing is risky. The reliable move is a blood panel from your doctor. Self-diagnosing and loading up on pills can backfire: too much zinc depletes copper, and excess iron is toxic. Testing removes the guesswork and lets you target exactly what you need.
