LESSON 4 · Sleep Like Your Life Depends On It

The Foundation of Good Sleep

Sleep hygiene is not about cleanliness. It is the set of behaviors and environmental conditions that support consistent, quality sleep. Many common sleep struggles are shaped by habits and environment, though persistent insomnia, breathing problems, pain, or unusual symptoms deserve medical help.

The idea is simple: your brain needs steady cues that it is time to sleep. When those cues are present, sleep comes naturally. When they are missing or contradicted, sleep becomes a struggle.
