Winter Contrast Power
Winters can handle high-contrast combinations that overwhelm other seasons: black with white, navy with bright white, deep burgundy with silver. These sharp pairings create the drama that makes Winter types look striking.
When you reach for red, make sure it is a cool, blue-based red rather than a warm one. A quick test: hold it next to a brick or tomato shade — a true Winter red looks crisp and slightly blue beside it, while a warm red suddenly looks orange. That blue base is what keeps the color sharp against your features instead of muddying them.
