Don't Skip Sunscreen

One prep step people skip the most is sunscreen under makeup, usually because they assume their foundation's SPF has it covered.

It does not. Foundation goes on far too thin to deliver the protection its SPF label promises. For real coverage, you would need several times more than anyone actually wears.

So add a dedicated sunscreen after moisturizer and let it absorb for about thirty seconds before foundation. It is the one prep step that protects your skin, not just your look.
