The moment your dog eliminates outdoors, throw a party. Not a quiet "good dog" — a genuine celebration with their favorite treat, excited voice, and maybe a quick game.

Some dogs are too distracted outside to eliminate. Start with boring outdoor trips — stand in one spot on a short leash for five minutes. If they go, jackpot reward. If not, straight back inside into a crate for fifteen minutes, then try again.
