Beat It to the Punch
The sharpest trick is timing: drain the tank before the trigger fires. Take your dog out right before the moment you know lights them up — before guests arrive, before the kids burst in, before you grab the leash. An empty bladder simply has less to spill.
When a spike sneaks through anyway, move it to the grass. Greet outside whenever you can. If an accident happens on the lawn instead of the carpet, you've already won that round.
