The Exercise Equation

More exercise shrinks most behavior problems — but a tired body is only half the job. A tired brain does even more.

The recipe has three parts: body, brain, and rest. Skip any one and the trouble returns. A dog that ran hard but thought about nothing all day still chews the baseboards. A dog that solved puzzles but never moved still digs at the fence. Calm is not one good walk — it is all three needs met on the same day.
