Building The Daily Plan

Now turn your windows into one written timetable. List each potty trip by clock time and tape it to the fridge so everyone in the house follows the same plan. A puppy can't learn a routine that changes with whoever is watching them.

Two rules keep the plan honest. First, anchor trips to meals and naps, not to round numbers — biology doesn't care that it's 10:00. Second, when in doubt, go out. An extra trip costs you five minutes; a missed one costs you a scrub and a setback.
