LESSON 4 · The Perfect Puppy Schedule

Keep a shelf of enrichment tools and rotate them so the dog meets something fresh each time: frozen Kongs, lick mats, snuffle mats, puzzle feeders, and vet-approved chews that pass your safety checks. When you need quiet, deploy one.

A single Kong stuffed with peanut butter, banana, and kibble, then frozen solid, gives twenty to forty minutes of quiet, focused activity. The cold and the packed food make your dog work harder, stretching one snack into a long stretch of calm.
