Start Where It's Easy

Build recall indoors first, where the only interesting thing in the room is you. Pick a clean word — if "come" is already poisoned, use "here" or "to me" and start fresh.

Once your dog nails recall indoors, raise the difficulty one small step at a time: a quiet room, then the backyard, then the front yard, then near real distractions. If a step falls apart, go back one level and rebuild.
