LESSON 2 · Level Up: Advanced Commands
One Command, Endless Uses
Place tells your dog to go to a chosen spot — a bed, mat, or raised cot — and stay there until you release them. It bundles three skills into one cue: travel to the spot, settle into a down, and hold the position.

Once it sticks, the uses pile up. The doorbell rings and your dog trots to the mat instead of mobbing the guest. Dinner runs beg-free because they hold place by the table. At a cafe they settle by your chair. During a work call they go to their bed and stay put. One cue, and the chaos has somewhere to go.
