Beyond Binary

Classical computers process information as bits — zeros and ones. A quantum computer uses qubits, which exploit superposition to exist as zero, one, or both simultaneously. This is not faster classical computing; it is a fundamentally different approach that solves certain problems exponentially faster than any traditional machine.

The power scales exponentially. Adding one qubit doubles the computational capacity, because each qubit can hold both states at once and the combinations multiply.
