Jurassic Park Got the Texture Wrong

The fully scaly movie dinosaur is too simple for many species, especially small theropods with clear feather evidence. But adult T. rex is still debated.

Close relatives had feathers, so fuzz on juveniles or some body regions is plausible. At the same time, skin impressions from large tyrannosaurids show scaly patches. The safest picture is mixed and uncertain, not a guaranteed shaggy adult.
