A first-generation hybrid
A single bone fragment from **Denisova Cave** belonged to a girl whose mother was **Neanderthal** and whose father was **Denisovan** — the only known first-generation hybrid of two human species. She died about 90,000 years ago, direct proof that these groups didn't just meet, they had children together.
