Feeling Powers Thinking
The idea that emotion and reason are enemies is simply wrong. Brain imaging shows the two work together, firing during the same decisions rather than fighting for control.
That is why people who try to shut their feelings off often decide worse, not better. Stripped of gut signals, they lose the fast sense of which option feels right and get lost weighing equal-looking choices. Emotional skill is not soft fluff. It is part of the machinery your brain uses to think.
