Common Logical Traps
The biggest mistake in everyday reasoning is affirming the consequent: the ground is wet, therefore it rained. But a sprinkler could have caused it. Knowing that "if P then Q" does not mean "if Q then P." Confusing these leads to false conclusions in courtrooms, medicine, and daily life.

Another trap is confirmation bias disguised as logic. People seek evidence that supports what they already believe and ignore contradictions. True logical thinking demands you actively look for counterexamples — cases that would disprove your idea.
