The Efficiency Argument
Capitalism's strongest claim is efficiency. Competition forces businesses to innovate, cut waste, and serve customers better. Companies that fail to improve eventually lose to hungrier competitors.

This competitive pressure produced the smartphone revolution, same-day delivery, and streaming entertainment. Market economies generate more innovation in a decade than command economies produced in generations. The profit motive, for all its flaws, remains the most powerful engine of technological progress ever discovered.
