The Tversky Partnership
The Kahneman-Tversky collaboration is one of the most productive partnerships in modern science. Their opposite personalities — Kahneman cautious and self-doubting, Tversky bold and confident — fueled extraordinary creativity.

Tversky's early death meant he never saw the field they built take over economics. Kahneman, who received the prize alone, consistently credited Tversky as the more brilliant of the pair and spoke of him for the rest of his life as his closest intellectual partner.
