Alaska, through the Permanent Fund Dividend
Since 1982, every Alaska resident gets an annual dividend from the **Alaska Permanent Fund**, which invests oil revenue. Payments range from a few hundred to over $2,000. Research shows no drop in employment, evidence that unconditional cash doesn't discourage work.
