The Many-Worlds Escape
Quantum mechanics offers a different solution. The many-worlds interpretation suggests that every possible outcome creates a branching universe. When you go back and prevent your grandparents' meeting, you do not alter your timeline — you create a new branch.

In the new branch, you were never born. In your original branch, you still were. There is no paradox because the two timelines are separate universes. The cost of this solution is enormous: it requires an infinite number of parallel realities, one for every choice ever made.
