Stephen Hawking threw a party and invited them after it ended
In 2009 Hawking held a champagne party at Cambridge, then published the invitation with the exact time and place only the day after. Only a time traveler could have arrived. No one came, and he joked that he had experimental evidence that time travel into the past is not possible.
