Fight Club's attack on consumer culture was so effective that it became consumed as a product itself. The film's iconic lines appear on t-shirts, posters, and memes — proving that capitalism absorbs even its fiercest critics into the marketplace.

This paradox was intentional. Fincher knew the film would be commodified, and built that awareness into its structure. Tyler Durden tells you not to follow leaders while being designed as irresistibly followable — the contradiction is the point.
