Most presentations build toward a climax, saving the best for last. This is backwards. Your audience pays the most attention in the first three minutes — put your most important point there. Not your intro, not your credentials, not your agenda slide.

If they remember nothing else, they remember your opening:

  • Minute 1: the insight that changes how they see the problem.
  • Minute 2: why it matters to them specifically.
  • Minute 3: what they should do differently starting today.

Everything after minute three is supporting evidence, not the headline.
