Before any talk, answer three questions about the audience. What do they already know about this topic? What do they care about most? What language do they use daily? These three answers give you everything you need to customize your delivery fast.

Starting too elementary can waste attention or feel condescending. Starting too advanced can lose people before the point matters. Calibrate by naming the shared ground quickly, then moving into the real decision or insight.
