LESSON 5 · Feed Your Mind
How Tolerance Shows Up
With daily use, your brain and body adapt. The same dose can feel weaker, and skipping it can bring withdrawal symptoms such as headache, fatigue, irritability, and foggy focus.
Adenosine receptors are part of the story, but the exact human adaptation is more complicated than a simple "more receptors" switch. The practical result is what matters: daily caffeine can become less of a clean boost and more of a habit your body expects.

So here is the uncomfortable truth: for many daily drinkers, part of the morning lift is withdrawal relief after overnight abstinence.
That does not mean caffeine never improves performance in regular users. It means the cleaner benefit comes from moderate, intentional use - not from needing coffee just to feel functional.
