Confidence vs. Bravado

Confidence is one of the most attractive traits a person can have. But here’s the paradox: the confidence that attracts is quiet, not loud.

Quiet confidence is self-assurance without self-promotion. It doesn’t need to win every exchange or fill every silence. Overt displays of dominance often read as the opposite — a sign someone is working hard to be seen, rather than someone who simply feels secure.
