Trust Building from Afar

Long-distance relationships test trust in ways proximity never does. You cannot read body language over text or confirm every story, so you must choose to trust deliberately rather than have it reinforced by daily presence.

The paradox: partners who demand constant proof of faithfulness — location sharing, interrogative calls — actually erode trust instead of building it. Trust grows when it is given freely, not extracted through surveillance.
