LESSON 4 · Voice Care Essentials

The Silent Destroyers

Most voice damage does not come from a single dramatic event. It accumulates from daily habits so common that people do not recognize them as harmful.

The vocal folds are remarkably resilient — they vibrate hundreds of times per second and can handle enormous use. But they have limits. Consistently exceeding those limits without adequate recovery creates cumulative damage that eventually presents as chronic hoarseness.
