Regular Check-Ins
Regular check-ins are the single most effective conflict prevention tool. A weekly fifteen-minute conversation where both parties raise concerns openly prevents accumulated frustrations. The format: what is working, what could be better, what you need this week.

The key is making check-ins routine rather than reactive. When you only talk when there is a problem, every conversation feels like confrontation. When you talk regularly either way, raising concerns feels normal and safe. The container already exists.
