LESSON 7 · Words That Win

Email Persuasion

Persuasive emails follow a structure that mirrors how good speakers order their key points:

  • Line 1 — state exactly what you need, no warm-up
  • Line 2-3 — give the single strongest reason why
  • Line 4 — address the most likely objection head-on
  • Line 5 — make the next step effortless

Example: "I need approval for the Q3 campaign budget by Friday. This targets our highest-value segment and projects 3x return. The creative team is ready to start Monday. Reply 'approved' and we launch." Five lines, full persuasion, zero wasted words.
