Executive presence is the perception that someone is ready for leadership. It rests on three things: gravitas, communication, and appearance.

The vocal component of executive presence boils down to sounding like you believe what you are saying. Conviction in the voice comes from proper breath support, downward inflection on key points, and the willingness to let silence underline important statements rather than rushing past them.
