LESSON 5 · Ace Any Job Interview
Understand Their Business Model
Knowing what a company sells is not enough. Understand how they make money, who their customers are, and what threatens their position. This depth separates surface-level candidates from strategic thinkers.
Then put it to work in your answers: "I noticed your revenue shifted toward enterprise clients last quarter — that usually means longer sales cycles but stickier accounts." Insight like that makes an interviewer think, "This person already thinks like one of us."
