The entry point to co-creation is small. Before any favor is on the table, give one useful thing: a sharp comment on their work, a quick review, a relevant introduction. You stop saying "trust me" and start showing "look what I can do."

That small gift does two jobs. It proves you are worth working with, and it opens a natural door to a bigger project. The shift is subtle but powerful: you move from asking for access to offering value — which makes people want to keep you close.
