The Follow-Up Wins
The spoken recap wins the room; the written note wins the record. The follow-up is what decides whether you get credit for what you said. Within 24 hours, send a one-paragraph summary to the people who matter: the decision, the owners, the next check-in. Your name at the top is the part nobody forgets.

Short is the superpower. Five sentences maximum. Longer notes get skimmed; shorter ones get read to the end, and decisions form around what gets read. Own the follow-up and you own the meeting's memory.
