When Mirrors Meet Resistance

Some people push back, deflect, or get emotional. That's normal — self-reflection is uncomfortable, and the first reaction is rarely the considered one.

In the moment, try: "I hear you, and I respect your perspective. I shared what I observed because I think it's worth considering." Then stop. Plant the seed and trust the process: most people work through difficult feedback over days, not minutes. The mirror you held today may click next week, when they're alone with their thoughts.
