Blind Spots Are Real

Everyone has behaviors they cannot see. Blind spots persist because self-image makes contradictory feedback easy to explain away: "They misunderstood," "It was a one-off," "They are too sensitive." The data may be there; the hard part is letting it reach you before you defend.

Ask: "What do I do that I probably don't realize I'm doing?" The answers may sting, but they reveal your biggest growth opportunity. Phrased this way, the question invites observation instead of judgment, which is why people answer more honestly.
