When the Guilt Disappears

Here is the part nobody warns you about: the hardest boundary to hold is the one in your own head. When your team genuinely knows your hours, the guilt of not replying at 9pm dissolves — you're not ignoring anyone, you're following a rule everyone already agreed to.

There's a quiet bonus, too. Stated boundaries are contagious. When you model them calmly — no apology, no drama — teammates start to feel they're allowed their own.
