Make Others the Hero
The wins that travel furthest are often the ones where you make someone else the hero. "We shipped the integration in three weeks because Priya unblocked the auth path on day one" gets shared by Priya, by her manager, and by anyone who hears Priya tell it.
You still appear in every version — as the person who ran the project — without ever bragging. That makes generosity the most efficient self-promotion there is: other people do the broadcasting for you.
One trap: never invent credit to flatter someone. People sense fake praise instantly. Credit only the real assist, and let the goodwill carry the story.
