LESSON 3 · Goals That Actually Happen

Drift is the Silent Killer

Goals rarely fail in dramatic surrender. They die through drift: one skipped workout becomes two, one postponed writing session becomes a week, and without check-ins the slide stays invisible.

A weekly progress review acts as an early warning system. It forces you to compare what you planned with what you actually did. The gap between intention and action, visible in black and white, is the single most useful metric for anyone pursuing goals. Catching drift early is everything.
