Charisma Is a Skill

Charisma is not a mystical trait reserved for extroverts. Author Olivia Fox Cabane popularized a practical model: presence, power, and warmth.

Most people default to one or two of these but neglect the third. Someone with power and presence but no warmth can feel intimidating. Someone warm and present but lacking power may seem kind but forgettable. Charisma gets stronger when presence, power, and warmth support the same interaction.
