LESSON 2 · From Mumbling to Commanding

Articulation is Sculpture

Think of your mouth as a sculptor's workshop. Your tongue, lips, teeth, and palate are the tools.

The difference between good and great articulation is precision of contact. When your tongue strikes the alveolar ridge for a T sound, does it hit firmly and release cleanly, or does it slide into a sloppy D? These micro-differences compound across every word in a sentence.
