The Power of Paraphrasing

Hearing words is not the same as understanding meaning. Paraphrasing bridges that gap by restating what you heard in your own words.

The best paraphrases capture the essence without parroting. If someone says "I'm frustrated because the project keeps changing direction," parroting just repeats those same words. A genuine paraphrase: "It sounds like the lack of stability is making it hard to do your best work."
