LESSON 4 · Lead Every Conversation
Four Vocal Dimensions
Vocal gravitas comes from attention to four dimensions:
- Pitch: speak from your chest rather than your throat — a lower, resonant pitch signals calm
- Volume: project enough to be heard without shouting; under-projecting forces people to strain
- Breath support: deep diaphragmatic breathing gives your voice power and steadiness
- Articulation: clear consonants and full vowels communicate precision and care
Record yourself in conversation and listen back. The gap between how you think you sound and how you actually sound is where practice pays off most.
