The Ask at the End

After delivering SBI feedback, close with an open question: "What is your perspective on this?" This turns a monologue into a dialogue. The best feedback conversations are mostly listening. When people feel heard, they are far more likely to act on what you said.

Feedback without follow-up is a wasted conversation. Schedule a brief check-in 1-2 weeks later. Ask how things are going. Acknowledge progress. This accountability loop is where behavior actually changes.
