Handle Interruptions Gracefully
Getting interrupted feels personal, but it is usually just bad group dynamics. Ready-made phrases turn an awkward moment into a power move. When someone cuts you off, try: "I'd like to finish my point, then I'll come straight to yours." That holds your floor without shutting them down. If you interrupt by accident, a quick "Sorry, go ahead" is plenty; do not over-apologize. The line between confident and aggressive is tone, not words: a warm voice delivering a firm phrase sounds authoritative, while the same words said coldly sound combative.
