The Slow-Low Protocol

Train your brain and voice for commanding delivery:

  • Record yourself reading a passage at normal pace, then re-read at 85% speed and compare how each sounds
  • Drop your pitch by relaxing your throat and jaw — think of the open, low feeling just before a yawn
  • Replace filler words with silence — every "um" is a chance for a powerful pause that signals confidence
  • Practice with podcasts — mimic the pacing of measured hosts like Tim Ferriss or Brené Brown
  • Use gravity, not force — let your voice settle to its lower range instead of pushing it down.
