LESSON 3 · Deeper, Richer, Magnetic

What Makes a Voice Magnetic

Researchers studying vocal attractiveness have found consistent patterns. Magnetic voices share warmth (rich lower overtones), clarity (clean articulation without mushiness), variation (dynamic pitch and pace), and authenticity (genuine human expression rather than performance).

The opposite — a flat, unclear, monotone, or affected voice — triggers the brain's habituation response. Listeners tune out because the voice provides no auditory novelty.
