Headline vs. Article
The article often contradicts the headline. A cure-for-aging headline may become "in mice, preliminary results" by paragraph seven because headlines chase clicks.

Another trap is the updated headline. A story breaks with a sensational headline, gets shared millions of times, then is quietly corrected hours later. The correction reaches only a fraction of the audience. The false version lives on forever in screenshots and shares.
