LESSON 2 · Burnout: Recognize, Recover, Prevent
Mapping Your Path
Recovery begins with a clear-eyed look at how you got here. Not blame, but understanding the system that produced the breakdown.
Map your trajectory by answering:
- When did you last feel genuinely engaged at work? That is your baseline.
- What changed between then and now? List every factor.
- Which factors were within your control?
- Which internal patterns contributed?
- What was the tipping point?
This map is your recovery blueprint. Internal patterns need therapeutic work; external factors need practical change, like conversations with management or firmer boundaries.
