LESSON 2 · Burnout: Recognize, Recover, Prevent

Mapping Your Path

Recovery begins with a clear-eyed look at how you got here. Not blame, but understanding the system that produced the breakdown.

Map your trajectory by answering:

  1. When did you last feel genuinely engaged at work? That is your baseline.
  2. What changed between then and now? List every factor.
  3. Which factors were within your control?
  4. Which internal patterns contributed?
  5. What was the tipping point?

This map is your recovery blueprint. Internal patterns need therapeutic work; external factors need practical change, like conversations with management or firmer boundaries.
